I went there hoping to bless and help as many people as I could, but so many people blessed me…
Overall, we didn't go to the DR to end poverty, but to bring the gift of God's love through our presence there.
I felt God’s love and passion light a fire inside of me to go and spread his message across the world.
God used Upward Twist at the moment he knew I needed it most, and through you I was able to go on my first medical mission trip along with another nurse on our team.
We have to be broken first in order to understand that it was always JESUS and His Grace only. In Guatemala, God reminded me gently during those moments of brokenness, that He was just asking me to show up!
Who would have thought getting punished with janitor duty in college from breaking a team rule would have lead me to become a nurse??
