This was my fourth mission trip with One World Health to help serve the Wheelchair and Mobility Clinic in Uganda. We delivered 62 wheelchairs with the majority of them going to children. This trip was extra special because we delivered wheelchairs made out of bamboo that were designed and built in the county of Uganda. We also were able to deliver wheelchairs in east and west Uganda in the cities of Masindi and Kyenjojo. It was a pleasure to work alongside Ugandan therapists to learn about cultural practices and ensure that patients will receive proper follow up care.
