I was blessed with the opportunity to serve with Medical Missions Outreach in San Jose Del Monte, Philippines. We were able to serve in 2 different locations, Calvary Baptist Church and Hope Baptist Church which was on the same grounds as Bahay Sibol- Home of Hope. Our trip was during their Typhoon season and we weren’t quite sure if this would impact the ability for patients to come to clinic. Our prayer was that God would bring them with prepared hearts to hear the Gospel, and He did! Despite our weather, 1870 patients came through our medical and optical clinics. After clinic, they were able to sit and hear the Gospel, one-on-one, by a member from the church. There were 615 professions of Christ as their savior! It was an amazing opportunity to serve, hear testimonies and see all the work God did during that week. I’m so thankful to The Upward Twist in helping to make that happen!
