Participating in the medical/dental missions trip to Cambodia was an incredibly rewarding experience. Serving those in need always reminds me that every act of kindness is an opportunity to share God’s love in a tangible way.  A particularly poignant moment for me was meeting a 13 year old girl.  While I was cleaning her teeth, I mentioned that her jacket was so pretty.  Once I was done cleaning her teeth, she took her jacket off and tried to give it to me.  That young girl, who had very little to give, was quite literally giving me the shirt off of her back to say thank you!  Love and kindness, especially God's love, transcends all languages barriers!  Seeing the gratitude and joy of the people we helped was humbling—it felt like a reflection of Christ’s compassion at work through our hands.  This trip showed me that service is a form of worship, and we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever there is need.
